The Riverfront A/E Team, led by Mr. Rhyneer, developed a design package to meet the VA’s need for campus expansion. Design included environmental remediation (asbestos; lead; hazardous materials; petroleum underground storage tank), demolition of a 135,000 SF concrete warehouse, buried utility demolition/capping and construction of a new parking lot facility equipped with security fencing/gates, lighting, bioretention systems, and a new maintenance lot/salt storage facility. CPS support included daily 3rd party air sampling for asbestos, lead, silica and demolition dusts. Construction Costs: $4M
